Troubleshooting

Start with the shortest checks first when setup, trainer connection, AI workout generation, or workout import does not behave as expected.

Trainer not found

  • Make sure Bluetooth is enabled
  • Wake the trainer again
  • Move the phone or tablet closer
  • Close other apps that may already be connected

Start is blocked or the ride feels wrong

  • Return to the setup summary and check what is still incomplete
  • Confirm FTP is set to a realistic value
  • Confirm the selected mode is the one you intended to ride
  • Confirm no other app is still controlling the trainer

AI generation or import fails

  • Check network connection for AI failures
  • Remember the daily AI limit is 3 requests per UTC day
  • Confirm the file extension and that the file is not empty
  • Files containing free_ride are not accepted on the app import path

Include what you were trying to do, device model, trainer model, the file name if import was involved, and the exact error text if you have it.
